This is my Amazing Matter activity. All the liquids are coloured Red, all the gases are green and the solids are yellow. I learned that if you do something to another type of matter it can change the type of matter to become different. For example, when you heat an ice cube, it slowly moves into a liquid and if you continue heating it the liquid will evaporate into gas. The mouse has a pathway through the picture and it is following the line that covers the solids - The mouse is going on a solid Pathway!! :-)

ReplyDeleteYes they can. Solids can become liquids and liquids can become a gas. Same way Gas can rise into the air and get into rain clouds which then produces liquids in the form of rain. Then this rain water could freeze in winter to become ice which is a solid. Some changes are irreversible like when you blend a banana into a smoothie, you can't make it become the banana again. You can still make it a solid by freezing it but it just won't go back to the original form
